The Battle of Chaeronea took place in 86 BC in the city of Chaeronea in Boeotia west between the Romans and an army of Pontus instead. The Roman troops were led by Sulla, the Pontic forces of Archelaus, the commander Mithridates'VI. ,.

Prehistory
