Stand at Greenbrier River, also called Battle of Camp Bartow, was a battle of the American Civil War, in the course of operations in western Virginia. It took place near the Greenbrier River on 3 October 1861.

After the victory at Cheat Mountain, the troops deployed in the western Virginia the Yankees intended to expel the associations of the Confederacy from the area of the future state of West Virginia. On the morning of October 3 Brigadier General Joseph J. Reynolds personally led by an armed reconnaissance with two brigades from Cheat Mountain Summit Fort eastward to attack the Confederates at Camp Bartow and destroy them.

Reynolds was able to break into the security of the Confederacy. From 07:00 clock the U.S. artillery is delivered a four-hour battle with the enemy artillery. During this duel Reynolds grabbed first on the left flank and then the right flank of the Confederates. However, both attacks were repulsed by the well-trained and disciplined soldiers Brigadier General Henry R. Jackson. Around noon, Reynolds presented one of his attacks, backing into the Cheat Mountain Summit fort.

The Confederates evacuated despite this successful defense against the attacks Camp Bartow in November in order to fend off attacks by the Yankees from the more favorably located Camp Allegheny can.
