The Battle of Guiling (Chinese桂 陵 之 战) was fought between the states of Qi and Wei at the time of the Warring States Period. 354 BC besieged an army of Wei, the capital of the State of Zhao, Handan. The long siege of the city could only be a year later repealed by the support of the State of Qi. The Qi generals Tian Ji and Sun Bin attacked the capital of the state Wei, Daliang, in order to force the termination of the siege of Handan by the elite troops of Wei.
