Peştera Ursilor ( German Bear Cave ) is one of the most famous caves in Romania, located in the Crisana, in the west of Transylvania, about 75 kilometers southeast of the county town of Oradea in Bihor County near the community Pietroasa, district Chişcău.

The cave is a commercial tourist attraction and museum since its release in July of 1980 people from all over the world. It consists of three superimposed galleries, of which only the top was prepared as a show cave. The two lower galleries scientific studies remain reserved.

The cave has an impressive in their beauty and variety of forms stalactite world. However, the highlight of any leadership is to visit a fossilized skeleton of a cave bear (Ursus spelaeus ). This skeleton is intact and is there for about 15,000 years.

The cave was discovered during quarry works and reported to the Institute of Speleology Emil Racoviţă. She was put under protection.
