Beatlemania Hamburg

Beatlemania Hamburg was a British rock band The Beatles museum dedicated in Hamburg.

It was designed as an " interactive exhibition " and was at the Nobistor 10 in the St. Pauli district. Are the Beatles Platz and Große Freiheit, in their clubs, the Beatles played in the early 1960s and thus laid a milestone in her later career in the immediate vicinity.

The exhibition, whose input is a Yellow Submarine was attached to the facade, was opened on 29 May 2009. The museum spread over five floors with eleven different themed rooms. The focus of these with original exhibits, interactive elements, fan memorabilia or a replica of the Große Freiheit street in the style of the 1960s the Beatles from their Hamburg days until its dissolution.

The privately -operated museum was closed due to economic failure on 30 June 2012. Until the announcement of the closure around 150,000 visitors had viewed the exhibition. The exhibits were returned to collectors and lenders.
