Beautiful Intentions is the third solo album by English singer Melanie C and also the first of her own record label Red Girl Records after she had gone with the old separate ways. The album was released in April 2005 in several European countries.

Background

Melanie C worked almost a year on the album. A preview of several songs she gave during her Barfly mini tour in June 2004, before they went into the studio for the recordings. Since the album was produced under their own label, Melanie C cost the entire recordings around one million euros. Despite good reviews and the successful first single Next Best Superstar, the album initially sold not as good as expected - in the UK album charts managed Beautiful Intentions in the first week at No. 24

In Germany appeared with First Day of My Life soon after a new single. This written by Guy Chambers and Enrique Iglesias song is the theme song for ZDF telenovela ways to happiness (then Julia - Wege zum Glück ).
