Beauvoir-en-Royans
Beauvoir -en- Royan is a commune with 77 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Isère, in the Rhône -Alpes; it belongs to the district of Grenoble and the Canton of Pont -en- Royan. The place is about 50 km from Grenoble.
History
The castle Beauvoir -en- Royan was the residence of the last Dauphin of Viennois before the assignment of the Dauphiné to the French crown, Humbert II.
