Beaverdell

Beaverdell is a settlement ( Designated Place) on the West Kettle River in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia in Canada. The village is the only significant settlement on Highway 33, between the beginning and the end in Rock Creek, Kelowna.

The census in 2011 showed a population of 121 inhabitants of the settlement. The population of the settlement has thereby decreased compared to the census of 2006 at 43.25 %, while the population in the province of British Columbia at the same time grew by 7.0%.

After Beaverdell the Beaverdell Range was named.

History

Originally named the settlement Beaverton, but was the beginning of the 20th century merged with the place Rendell to Beaverdell.
