The language Bedik (ISO 639-3 is tnr, also seperatly, basari you bandemba, Budik, Menik, tandanke, tenda and tendanke ) is a West Atlantic language, which is spoken by 3,380 inhabitants in the southeast of Senegal.

It belongs to the group of Tendik languages ​​within the Niger -Congo language family. The members of the ethnic group of the Bedik are known for their distinctive feminine hairstyle.

The traditional name for the language is Menik. The language is almost extinct, since more and more speakers, the French, the official language of Senegal, take over. Bedik is related to the language Basari [ bsc ].
