Beeton

Beeton is a small town in southern Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada. It lies between Tottenham and Alliston. In 1991 it was merged with these two cities to New Tecumseth.

The region was first settled shortly before 1836 by a group of pioneers to William Hammill who arrived in Canada in 1827. In 1852, a large tract of land in this region of Robert Clark, a blacksmith, bought and opened a blacksmith shop in this place. He sold land in this region, paving the way for the city Clarksville, which was later renamed Tecumseth. Again, later, the city was renamed in Beeton.

In the city every year there is a honey - and - Garden Festival.
