Behar Shtylla

Behar Shtylla (* 1918 in Korçë, † 1994 in Tirana ) is a former Albanian politician of the partia e puNES e Shqipërisë ( PPSh ).

Biography

During the Second World War from 1942 to 1944 he participated in the communist anti-fascist war of independence. After the founding of the People's Republic of Albania, he entered the diplomatic service and was temporarily 1950-1952 envoy in France and then in Italy.

On July 24, 1953 Shtylla was appointed as successor by Enver Hoxha as foreign minister in the government and holding office in the subsequent governments of Mehmet Shehu until its replacement by the former Deputy Foreign Minister and Ambassador to the People's Republic of China Nesti nose at 18 March. 1966. 1954 he was first elected a deputy of the National Assembly ( Kuvendi Popullor ) and was part of this as the representative for the district of Durres and Berat then the circle from the third to the end of the ninth term in 1982.

In April 1957, he was next to Enver Hoxha, Mehmet Shehu, Gogo Nushi, Xhafer Spahiu, Ramiz Alia, Spiro Koleka and Rita Marko to a delegation on a state visit to the Soviet Union, which dealt with the Albanian- Soviet relations. In addition, he also represented internationally the political attitude of the Albanian leadership to other states and political ideologies as in September 1957, in a speech to the General Assembly of the United Nations on the foreign and security policy objectives of Yugoslavia.

After he was previously a candidate, he was at the 4th Congress of the PPSh in February 1961 Member of the Central Committee ( CC) of the party.

In a telegram December 2, 1961 to the Foreign Minister of North Vietnam, Ung Van Khiem, he expressed his concerns about the development of the situation in Vietnam and the fear of the establishment of a base by U.S. President John F. Kennedy in South Vietnam to aggression towards North Vietnam and Laos. During this time he was on 13 January 1969 to 1970 President of the People's Assembly.

1973 he was appointed ambassador to the People's Republic of China. He held until his replacement by Janus Mersini in October 1979 this office.

1997 published a biography written by him on the politicians and clergy Fan Noli under the title Fan Noli, Sic e came njohur. Kujtime.
