The Beilbach is a 17.1 km long, orographic left tributary of the North Rhine- Westphalian Axtbachs in Münster, Germany.

Geography

The creek rises about 2.4 kilometers east of Ennigerloh as Merschbach at an altitude of 99 m above sea level. NN. It first flows in an easterly direction. After about 2 km stretch of river spirits of Bach Bach is called. He turns his course to the north. After another 3 km stretch of river the stream then changes again the name and Beilbach is called. Without prejudice to any other villages reached the creek Beelen and ends there on the left side to 57.5 m above sea level. NN in the Axtbach.

On a river length of 17.1 km of stream overcomes a difference in height of 41.5 m, which corresponds to an average bed slope of 2.4 ‰. The 46.093 km ² is drained by Axtbach and Ems to the North Sea.
