Béla Kerékjártó ( born October 1, 1898 in Budapest, † June 26, 1946 in Gyöngyös ) was a Hungarian mathematician who worked mainly with topology and geometry.

Kerekjarto studied at the University of Budapest. From 1922 he taught as a professor at the University of Szeged, but was too long a guest stays in Göttingen and Princeton. From 1938 he was a professor in Budapest.

Kerekjarto worked in the field of topological transformations and transformation groups and wrote one of the first textbooks on topology ( with Oswald Veblen, Solomon Lefschetz ), of which, however, Hans Freudenthal said, " it was not a good book and no one read it therefore ".
