Vindonnus was in Celtic mythology the name of a sun and healing deity who was equated by the interpretatio romana with Apollo.

Mythology and Etymology

Vindonnus is a Celtic name suffix of the sun god, in Greece and Rome Apollo (s) named in Gaul Belenus. In Essarois at Châtillon -sur -Seine (Burgundy ) a temple of Apollo Vindonnus was found in the springs from a mineral spring.
