Belgian Badminton Federation

The Belgian Badminton Federation ( BBF ) is the supreme national administrative organization in the sport of badminton in Belgium. The administrative headquarters of the BBF is in Brussels.

History

The Belgian Badminton Federation was established as one of the first post-war national badminton organizations in 1947 and in April 1950 Member of the World Federation IBF. The BBF 1967 was one of the eleven founding members of Badminton Europe, at that time called under the name of European Badminton Union. 1973, the Association was instrumental in the initialization of the Plume d'Or. As a top national team competition, the Belgian National Badminton League is organized. Exist at the Vlaamse Badminton Liga and Ligue Francophone Belge de badminton As a next lower leagues. The current President is Edgard Verpoorten.
