Belgin Doruk

Belgin Doruk ( born June 28, 1936 in Ankara, † March 26, 1995 in Istanbul) was a Turkish actress.

Life

During their schooling part Doruk participated in a film competition of the "Star Magazine " s. After winning the contest, she began her film career in 1952, which lasted for more than 20 years. 1953, she was second in the competition for the Miss Turkey and married director Faruk KENC, of which she was later divorced again. Most of her films were melodramas, the well-received by the audience. Until the mid- 1960s Doruk was one of the most popular actresses of her home country. A series of films about the " Kucuk Hanim " ( " Little Lady " ) contributed to this. In 1970 it was " movie Şenliği Antalya " the Golden Orange Award for Best Actress at; Two years later she returned to the active Acting the back.

She died in 1995 from heart disease in Istanbul.
