Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008

The Euro song was the Belgian preliminary decision to Euro Vision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade. The brood TV station VRT was.

Ishtar reached the Euro Vision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade (Serbia ) only the 17th place in the semifinals, so not qualified for the finals.

Other

• At the final round of the contest, the second-placed Sandrine announced the Belgian points.
• Katrina Leskanich was a member of the jury that determined the wildcards. Furthermore belonged Kris Wouters Clouseau and Marcel Vanthilt it.
• The Song Game Over by Esther was the only in Dutch, two English versions were recorded, one of which is called No Smoke and was the debut single of Queensberry. There is also a song in French - Italian ( Vagabundo by Francesco Palmeri ) and Ishtar with the song in fancy language. All the other songs were ( at least predominantly ) English.
