Belinda Cordwell

Belinda Cordwell ( born September 21, 1965 in Wellington ) is a former tennis player from New Zealand.

Career

Cordwell celebrated a single and two doubles titles in her career on the WTA level. In 1988 she took part in the Summer Olympic Games in 1988, but was beaten in the first round of the British Sara Gomer. At the Australian Open 1989, she reached the semifinals, failed there, however, against Helena Suková. From 1982 to 1991 she was a member of the New Zealand Fed Cup team.

After her tennis career, she also began to work as Sportkommentatorin.
