Bell Mountain AVA

Bell Mountain AVA ( recognized since October 10, 1986) is an American Viticultural Area in the U.S. state of Texas and is part of the regional Texas Hill Country AVA. The area is located in Gillespie County.

Bell Mountain AVA was the first all- Texas wine-growing region that the status of an American Viticultural Area received. The overarching appellation Texas Hill Country AVA was established only five years after the Bell Mountain AVA. In 2006 there were a total of nine estates that abfüllten wine under the name of the appellation.
