Bella Vista is a city in Benton County in the U.S. state of Arkansas. At the time of the census of 2000, Bella Vista was a census-designated place (CDP ) and had 16,582 inhabitants. It was founded in 1965 near the village of the largest nichtincorporierte community in Arkansas. In 2006, the residents voted to form a Town. Until the official 2009 estimate, the population increased to 25,480.

Geography

Bella Vista is located in the middle of the Ozark Mountains, a highland with deeply incised river valleys, extending from Arkansas in the states of Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas.

The place is located on U.S. Highway 71 at the end of Interstate 540 between Bentonville and the border with Missouri.
