Ben Granfelt

Ben Granfelt is a Finnish guitarist, singer ( Ben Granfelt band) and rock musician.

For some years he played in the band Gringos Locos, in which a modern drummer of his band Ben Granfelt band Miri Miettinen worked. After three appeared with him Gringos Locos albums Ben Granfelt was a member of the Leningrad Cowboys. In 1993 the Leningrad Cowboys in Helsinki played to an audience of 70,000 people, " The Total Balalaika Show ". The Leningrad Cowboys Ben Granfelt performed in over 20 countries, including Japan and Australia. He also wrote most of the original Leningrad Cowboys songs.

In parallel with the Leningrad Cowboys released Ben Granfelt more albums under his own name or as a member of the Guitar Slingers.

As of 2001, Ben was Granfelt member of Wishbone Ash. From this period dates the album Bona Fide. He left the band in 2004 because he wanted to devote himself to the career of his own band. Since Wishbone Ash are a band that is touring a lot, Ben Granfelt had less time for his own band. Since then he has devoted himself entirely to the Ben Granfelt band. Muddy Manninen, who was also a member of the Finnish band Gringos Locos, moreover, became the new guitarist of Wishbone Ash.

The album of Ben Granfelt band "The Sum of Memories" was officially sold for the first time during his tour in Germany. A couple of song demos you can also listen on his website.

Harri Rantanen was a long time bass player in the band Ben Granfelt. The current bassist is called John Vihervä. Since January 2008, Ben Granfelt has the trio of keyboardist Kasper Mårtenson added.

Since 2011 he is a member of the Finnish band Los Bastardos Finlandeses.
