Ben Segenreich

Ben Blessed ( born March 3, 1952 in Vienna) is an Austrian- Israeli journalist, correspondent and Middle East expert at the ORF in Israel ( Tel Aviv).

Blessed Ben graduated from the French Lyceum in Vienna and studied physics and mathematics in Paris and Vienna. During his studies he engaged, inter alia, to for victims of anti-Semitic discrimination and Jewish dissidents in the Soviet Union. After his doctorate in physics, he worked as a software developer and was also active as Austria correspondent for the Israeli daily newspaper Maariw ( Maariv ).

In 1983 he emigrated to Israel and remained active as a software developer. From 1989 he was a correspondent for Austrian, German and Swiss newspapers and magazines. Since 1990, Ben Blessed is working as a TV and radio correspondent for the ORF in Israel.

He is married and has two daughters.
