Benito Archundia

Benito Armando Archundia Téllez ( born March 21, 1966 in Tlalnepantla, Mexico ) is a Mexican soccer recognized by FIFA referee.

Archundia started his international refereeing career on January 1, 1993. On 28 May 1994 he whistled the game USA vs Greece its first international match. At the World Cup in 2006 the lawyer and economist Héctor Vergara and José Ramires were on hand. There Archundia initiated the encounters between Brazil and Croatia, France against South Korea, the Czech Republic against Italy, the second round between Switzerland and Ukraine, and the semi-finals Germany against Italy.
