Benjamin Gavanon

Benjamin Gavanon ( born August 9, 1980 in Marseille, Côtes- d'Armor ) is a French football player. He currently plays at second division Amiens SC. He is the older brother of Jeremy Gavanon, goalkeeper for AS Cannes.

Club career

Benjamin Gavanon played in his youth for the biggest club of his hometown of Marseille. There he received in 2000, even his first Provivertrag, came to the end of 2002 but only once to a 7- minute appearance. He was therefore borrowed for half a year at Nottingham Forest. But even with Forest he did not make the breakthrough into the first team and returned without the use back to France. Gavanon signed for 2 years bim second division club AS Nancy. There he was able to immediately establish yourself as a regular player and was part of the team that managed to rise in 2005 in the Ligue 1 and a year later the Coupe de la Ligue won. In the 2009/10 season he was loaned to FC Sochaux.
