AS Cannes

The Association Sportive de Cannes is a French football club from the city of Cannes, which is located on the Côte d' Azur in the south of France, department Alpes - Maritimes.

It was founded in 1902, the football department in 1909 came to it; 1946-1951 was the club AS Cannes -Grasse. The club colors are red and white. The League team plays in the Stade Pierre de Coubertin, which has a capacity of 12,000 seats.

Club president is Ziad Fakhri. The first team was trained by the end of May, 2011 by Victor Zvunka, who had succeeded Albert Emon until February 2011. (August 2011)

League membership

First class (Division 1 since 2002 in Ligue 1 renamed) played the club from 1932 to 1943, 1944-1949, 1965/66, from 1987 to 1992 and from 1993 to 1998. 2011, the team from the National League in the fourth ( CFA) was relegated in which it competes and 2013/14.
