Benjamin Kogo

Benjamin Kogo ( born 1945 in Nandi District) is a former Kenyan athlete. It was 1968 Olympic silver medalist in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Kogo won in 1964, the East Africa Cup in the obstacle course. At the Olympic Games in 1964, he left in the flow. In 1965, he won the title at the first Africa games. In the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in 1966 in Kingston, Jamaica, he finished second in 8:32,81 minutes in third place behind the New Zealander Peter Welsh and the Australian Kerry O'Brien. 1967 Kogo won again at the East championship, this year he presented with 8:31,6 minutes his personal best. In 1968 Kogo for the third time in the East Championship.
