Benjamin Lincoln Robinson

Benjamin Lincoln Robinson ( born November 8, 1864 in Bloomington, Illinois, † July 27, 1935 in Jaffrey, New Hampshire) was an American botanist. He was director of the Gray Herbarium of Harvard University in Cambridge (Massachusetts ). Its official botanical author abbreviation is " BLRob. ".

Robinson finished the work Synoptical flora of North America by Asa Gray. The plant genus Robinson Ella Rose et Baker f from the mallow family ( Malvaceae ) has been named after him.
