Benjamin Mielke

Benjamin Mielke ( born February 6, 1981 in Pearl Mountain ) is a retired German bobsledder.

Benjamin Mielke, sports soldier from WSV Koenigssee, from 2004 to 2010 at the Bobsleigh active. 2005, the brakeman by Karl Angerer German junior champion in the four-man, 2006 runner-up in two and was third in the quad. In 2006, he won the Junior World Championships in the four-man event. Best result at senior level was the second place in the quad at the World Cup 2007 in Innsbruck / Igls, and the twelfth place finish at the 2007 World Championships in St. Moritz.

Prior to joining the Bobsleigh Mielke was athlete. In 1998 he won silver over 300 meters at the German Junior Championships, 1999 Gold at the 400 -meter relay at the European Junior Championships, silver in the 400m at the German Junior Championships and 2001 bronze at the German Junior Championships, again about 400 meters.

After the active career Mielke funeral was a private company in Bad Reichenhall, Berchtesgaden and Freilassing.
