Benno Magnusson

Benno Magnusson, Lars ( born February 4, 1953 in Ålem, Kalmar län) is a former Swedish football player.

Career

Magnusson began his career at Åtvidabergs FF. In the winter of 1973/74, the striker came on 1 FC Kaiserslautern, there was a regular player, but scored no single Bundesliga goal. Therefore, he was released after just one season to league rivals Hertha BSC, where he won the German runner at first.

After another season in the German top flight, he returned to Sweden to Kalmar FF.

Magnusson played eleven times for the Swedish national team. The country selection, he participated in the World Cup in 1974, failed in Sweden only in the second group stage.

Private

His older brother Roger was just as football players, playing alongside the Swedish national team for the first FC Cologne, Juventus and Marseille.
