The Netzblättrige barberry (Berberis dictyophylla ) is a native of China plant species of the genus Berberis (Berberis ) in the family of Barberry Family ( Berberidaceae ).
Description
The Netzblättrige barberry is a dichtwüchsiger, deciduous ( deciduous ) shrub that reaches the stature heights of up to 2 meters. The bark of young branches is blue white frosting, red-brown later. The small leaves are obovate, entire or stachelzähnig, glossy green above, white as chalk. The leaf spines are one to three parts and up to 1.5 cm long. The bright yellow flowers are individually and appear in late spring. The big red berry fruits are frosted white.
Dissemination
The home of Netzblättrigen barberry is located in western China. It was introduced to Europe in 1916.
Use
Like many other barberries place this species as an ornamental use.

The variety Berberis dictyophylla var epruinosa CK Cutting. also in youth red-brown branches and green leaves hand.
The variety Berberis dictyophylla var approximata ( Sprague ) Rehder is sometimes referred to as Berberis approximata Sprague.
