Berliner Symphoniker

The Berlin Symphony Orchestra is a symphony orchestra in Berlin. The orchestra began his concert career on September 1, 1967 as the Berlin Symphony Orchestra. History

From 1967 to 1990, the orchestra Symphony Orchestra Berlin was (SOB ). This orchestra was formed from the merger of two Berlin orchestras, namely the Berlin Symphony Orchestra (founded 1949) and the German Symphony Orchestra.

The orchestra made ​​numerous international tours, it came here on several occasions in Asia, Africa and South America. 2007, the Berlin Symphony Orchestra was nominated for their CD Latin Music as Best Classical Album for the Latin Grammy Award.
