Bernard Borderie

Bernard Borderie ( born June 10, 1924 in Paris, † May 28, 1978 ) was a French screenwriter and film director.

Life

Bernard Borderie, the son of film producer Raymond Borderie was initially Illustration draftsman and worked from 1942 as an assistant director, for example, Jean Marcel Carné and for Dréville. From 1951 Borderie himself was working as a film director. The success of The Curse of the blond Satan led to a longer -term relationship with actor Eddie Constantine, of the private eye Lemmy Caution embodied in other strips. Even with the Angélique series used Borderie, who also wrote the screenplay for many of his films, proven pattern. From 1971 Borderie worked exclusively for television.
