Bernard Rudofsky

Bernard Rudofsky ( born March 19, 1905 in Suchdol nad Odrou, then Zaucht ( e) l, Moravia, † March 12, 1988 New York City ) was an internationally active architect and cultural theorist who dealt extensively with the relationship between lifestyle and architecture. He is the author of publications on the topic Anonymous architecture.

In 1987 in honor of the architect, the Museum of Applied Arts (Vienna ) showed a retrospective entitled " Bernard Rudofsky. Sparta / Sybaris No new construction - a new way of life does not".

In 2009 ( 22nd District ) of Rudofskyweg was named after him in Vienna Danube city.
