Bernd Gerber

Bernd Gerber ( born December 21, 1961 in Schiffer city ) is a former German football player.

In youth Bernd Gerber played for FSV Schiffer city and in 1978 moved to the A- youth of the 1st FC Kaiserslautern. On March 7, 1981, he came against MSV Duisburg in the Bundesliga for the FCK professionals to use. 1982/83 he was responsible for VfR Buerstadt on the ball in the big leagues in 1983, he moved to VfL Bochum, for whom he played four league games and moved again after one year.

For the 1984/85 season he moved to the 2nd Bundesliga to Blue-White 90 Berlin. Here at last he was first-team regular and came in the first two years, 63 times used. 1986 Gerber increased with the Berliners to the Bundesliga after just one year, but it already went back to the second division.

In 1987 he moved to SpVgg Bayreuth, who also played in the second league. In three years, he played 59 times. Overall Gerber graduated 19 Bundesliga second division and 126 games (8 goals).

Since July 1, 2011 he has been an assistant coach at FSV Schiffer city.
