Bert Murray

Albert " Bert" Murray ( born September 22, 1942 in Hoxton ) is a former English footballer.

The first professional club of Murray was Chelsea, where he was from 1961 to 1966 under contract. With the Blues in 1965, he won the English League Cup. After a dispute with then- coach Tommy Docherty, he moved to 160 games for Chelsea in 1966 to Birmingham City, which he remained faithful until 1971. After his stay in Birmingham he played at Brighton & Hove Albion Peterborough United. Murray currently operates an English pub in a small village near Market Deeping Peterborough.
