Beta Doradus

Beta Doradus (short β Dor ) is the second brightest star in the night sky located at the southern constellation swordfish. The star is one of the brightest Cepheid variables in the night sky. The brightness of about 1000 light years away yellow supergiants varies with a period of 9.8426 days between 3.46 mag and 4.08 mag.
