Bethany Firth

Bethany Firth (born 14 February 1996) is a Northern Irish swimmer.

A native of Seaforde, County Down Firth began in 2009 their athletic career. In the IPC Swimming European Championships she won the silver S14- rating to 200 meters freestyle swimming. In 2012 she went to Ireland at the Paralympic Summer Games in London. She participated in the 200 meter freestyle swimming ( S14), the 100 -meter breaststroke ( SB14 ) and the 100 -meter backstroke (S14 ) part.

On 31 August 2012, she won with a time of 1:08.93 the 100 meter backstroke competition in the S14 classification and achieved the first gold medal for Ireland at the Summer Paralympics in London.
