Beti is a Bantu language and is spoken by about 2 million people.
It is spoken by about 10 % of the population of Cameroon and is a lingua franca. It is distributed in the provinces Centre, Sud and the districts of Lom -et- Djerem and skin - Nyong in the province Est.
Beti is written in the Latin script.
