Betsy Brantley

Betsy Brantley ( born September 20, 1955 in Rutherfordton, North Carolina ) is an American actress.

Betsy Brantley studied acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. While studying there, she was cast in the film at the edge of the abyss with Sean Connery. This was followed by a series of minor roles in television series such as: NAM - service in Vietnam, Second Noah, or Beauty and the Beast. The greatest recognition she could achieve with the role of Neely Pritt from the movie Shock Treatment. In major Hollywood productions she played mostly supporting roles only. She played a greater role in Havana. She was most recently seen in the movie This Man's Life.

Betsy was married twice. In his first marriage with Simon Dutton and 1989-1994 with Steven Soderbergh. From this marriage her daughter comes named Sarah Soderbergh.
