Better Than Love ( German: " Better than love") is a song by British synthpop duo Hurts from their debut album Happiness. It was released as their debut song 23 May 2010 in the United Kingdom, which reached number 50 on the UK Singles Charts. The song was also in the Belgian and Dutch charts.
The song was re-released as a double A-side with the single Illuminated on 9 May 2011 in the UK. In Germany, the single was re-released on 15 July 2011 without Illuminated.
Music Video
The music video was uploaded on 28 April 2010 on the official YouTube account of Hurts, where a trailer was uploaded to the day before. This was her first professional music video. Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson are in a room for an audition, surrounded by women who look like them from the clothes here. As Anderson plays the piano, is Hutchcraft the audition looking in the mirror of the hall. The video was shot in Romania Buftea studio in Bucharest, with the Romanian actress Laura Cosoi and other Romanian actresses. Cosoi also played in their later video Sunday the main role.
