Betty Bird
Betty Bird, born Hilde Elisabeth Ptack ( born June 18, 1901 in Vienna, Austria - Hungary; † 4 March 1998 in Rome, Italy) was an Austrian film actress.
Life
Hilde Elisabeth Ptack, daughter of Louis Ptack came early in contact with film people, since her father was private secretary to the owner of Sascha - Film Factory. On December 23, 1923, she married the cameraman and later film director Gustav Ucicky.
As the " Vienna Film Beauty Queen " in 1927, she received her first film role. With her husband moved Betty Bird, as they are called now, to Munich and then to Berlin. In the role of a charming girl she was in the late 1920s, mostly seen in the early 1930s in film comedies, without obtaining special attention.
The marriage with Ucicky was divorced in August 1936. On December 23, 1937, she married in Rome the Czech Dental Hruska. She died on 4 March 1998 in Rome.
