Beverly is a city in Essex County, Massachusetts, United States. The city, founded in 1626 by Roger Conant with almost 40,000 inhabitants, is located just north of the County seat Salem.

Beverly is part of the Essex National Heritage Area. The city is home to the Endicott College and the record label Rykodisc.
