Bezold's abscess

With Bezold 's abscess (also: Bezold - mastoiditis ) is the mastoid process ( mastoid process ) of the temporal bone in the sternocleidomastoid muscle called ( " Bezoldscher Abscess " ) the abscess. The abscess is a rare complication and consequence of acute otitis media and was named after the German physician Friedrich Bezold ears.
