Bhimeshwar

Bhimeshwar is a mountain town and the administrative seat of the district of Dolakha in central Nepal, 135 km east from Kathmandu (70 km distance). The city is situated on a mountain ridge at about 2000 m altitude in sight of the Gaurishankar overland from Kathmandu to Mount Everest.

Bhimeshwar went public in 1996 largely from the place ( Village Development Committee ) Charikot and a number of neighboring villages eingemeindeten forth. The term Charikot is therefore still in use.
