Biathlon at the 2003 Asian Winter Games

Biathlon at the Winter Asian Games 2003 in Aomori Prefecture was in the fifth edition of the event for men and for women in three races, sprint, pursuit and with the squadron carried out. Dominant nations were China and in particular for the first time again since 1990, Japan, which won all six individual medals in the men. The dominant athlete in the men was Hironao Meguro, who won all three possible gold medals in the women Kong Yingchao with two golds and a silver.

Hosted the biathlon competitions was the Iwaki -san Sogo kōen (English Mt Iwaki Iwaki Sports Park or General Athletic Park ) in Iwaki, today part of the city Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture in southwest.
