Bickenalb

The Bickenalb ( frz: Bickenalbe ) is a 23 km long tributary of the horn creek, which rises in France and on the Saarland to the Rhineland -Palatinate ( Germany ) flows. The Bickenalb dehydrated with their tributary streams to the north-west of the village in the department Moselle Pays de Bitche and the south east of the Saar Pfalz -Kreis.

Course

The Bickenalb rises near Petit- Réderching and flows northeast across Bettviller and past Erching along the D 84 to the state border. Then she enters the territory of the Saar Palatinate - circuit and flows along the L 110 Peppenkum and continue to Altheim Rhineland-Palatinate state limit, which is reached just before the Bickenaschbacher yard belonging to the district-free city Zweibrücken. After passage of Mittelbach, shortly before Ixheim, opens the Bickenalb from the left in the Hornbach, which in turn opens around 2 km later in the Schwarzenbach.
