Big Tymers

The Big Tymers were an American hip- hop duo from New Orleans.

Biography

After Bryan Williams had founded with his brother Ronald, the label Cash Money, he participated regularly with the label producer Mannie Fresh as - Featuring Artists in the publications of the label. They called themselves the Big Tymers in 1998 and took her first LP How You Luv That? out. As the label in the same year completed a collaboration with Universal Records, the album was edited and published a second time. Both versions came in the top 25 of the U.S. R & B charts.

The breakthrough for the duo came in 2000 with the album I Got That Work, which rose to No. 1 on the R & B and # 3 on the official charts and sold over a million copies (platinum status). Even more successful was their third album Hood Rich, which appeared two years later. So they made ​​it to No. 1 on the official album charts and had a hit single with Still Fly, but missed the top 10 of the Hot 100 just barely. The album was another million-seller.

The next album Big Money Heavyweight appeared in late 2003 and was unable to match the Vorerfolge. But it was at least able space 21 and sold half a million copies. Shortly thereafter, Mannie Fresh left the label and began a solo career, making the Big Tymers came to an end. Baby Williams then worked together with Lil Wayne and Birdman also published as later.
