Bigod 20

Bigod 20 is a German EBM and techno lineup, which was founded in Frankfurt in the late 1980s by Andreas Tomalla (aka Talla 2XLC ) and Markus Nikolai (aka Jallokin ). At this time, Talla was also involved in other musical projects, for example Robotiko Rejekto, Tribantura and Microchip League.

Band History

1988 published Bigod 20 the single Body To Body on Talla's newly formed label Music Research, which later became the label Zoth Ommog Records emerged.

In 1990 the band signed with Sire Records and released the single The Bog. Not only because the vocals of Jean -Luc De Meyer, the head of the Belgian EBM band Front 242 were sung, but because of the entire sound of this piece, it is often held up today mistaken for a title of Front 242.

1991 Thomas Franzmann (aka Zip Campisi ) was a new member. In the same year the first album of the band appeared under the name Steel Works! . The single from the On The Run borrows heavily from Madonna's Like A Prayer title. Shortly afterwards followed by another extraction under the title It 's Up To You.

In 1994 the second album by Bigod 20, titled Supercute.

2004 appeared on the label Blanco Y Negro Records, the maxi-single Acid To Body.
