Bilfinger Berger Power Services

Bilfinger Power Systems GmbH, headquartered in Oberhausen is one of five divisions of construction and services group Bilfinger.

Under the umbrella of Bilfinger Power Systems numerous companies operating at home and abroad. The core business of the subgroup is the power plant technology in the steam generator, energy and environmental engineering, pipeline engineering as well as machinery and equipment. In these segments, Bilfinger Power Systems GmbH offers maintenance, repairs and maintenance on especially demanding measures for service life extension, efficiency enhancement and rehabilitation of power plants.

Another focus of the group is located in the new construction and remodeling and in the supply of components - some of our own manufacturing facilities. A dense network of branches linked to the activities in the major markets of the group: Germany, Europe and the Middle East and South Africa.

Currently ( early 2013 ), the Group employs about 9800 employees.

  • 05 /2013: Move to new headquarters - Europa Allee 1
  • 12/2012: Acquisition of Mauell GmbH.
  • 09 /2012: Bilfinger Power Services GmbH changes its name to Bilfinger Power Systems GmbH.
  • 06 /2012: acquisition of the planning company Envi Con & Plant Engineering GmbH
  • 10/2011: acquisition of the remaining shares of the Duro Dakovic Montaza dd (100%)
  • 09/2011: Acquisition of Rosink apparatus and plant engineering GmbH.
  • 10/2010: About the name Rotring Engineering AG.
  • 03 /2010: Power Services is a separate division within the Bilfinger Berger AG.
  • 02 /2010: acquisition of MCE Berlin GmbH and integration of MCE machine and apparatus GmbH & Co. KG in the Power Services business segment.
  • 04 /2009: Acquisition of 80.5 % stake in Duro Dakovic Montaza dd Headquartered in Slavonski Brod, Croatia.
  • 05 /2006: Acquisition of the Essenes high-pressure pipeline GmbH.
  • 05 /2006: Change of name of Deutsche Babcock Service GmbH (Holding of the group) in the Bilfinger Berger Power Services GmbH.
  • 04/ 2005: Bilfinger Berger AG acquires all shares of Babcock Borsig Service Group.
  • 01/ 2005: acquisition of the license for flue gas desulphurisation by Babcock & Wilcox, USA.
  • 08/ 2003: The German Beteiligungs AG acquires Babcock Borsig Service Group from the insolvency of Babcock Borsig AG.
  • 12/2003: Babcock Borsig Service buys the former Steinmueller Society Steinmueller Engineering Services ( Pty) Ltd.. in South Africa.
