The Chen- formula

Only the higher of the two cards will initially be used to determine the points. The lower is only needed for additional calculation of gaps ( gaps ) and suited cards ( " same-color cards"):

  • Ace = 10 points
  • King = 8 points
  • Lady = 7 points
  • Jack = 6 points
  • 10-2 = half of the value (for example 10 = 5, 7 = 3.5 )
  • A couple on hand: Score multiply by 2 (eg double - Ace = 20), but at least 5 points (ie, for 2, 3, 4- and 5 pairs are worth 5 points )
  • Suited cards ( suited cards ): 2 points in addition to the points of the higher card
  • Connectors (2 consecutive cards, such as 9 and 10 or Queen and King ): 1 point in addition
  • 1- gap (eg, 8 and 10, or Jack and King ): deduct 1 point
  • 2- gap (eg, 8 and Jack, or Jack and As): deduct 2 points
  • 3- gap (eg, 8 and lady or 2 and 6): Pull off 4 points
  • 4- gap (or larger gap ): deduct 5 points
